How To Be A Craps Dealer

The Craps Dealers. There are two dealers present at the craps table. Each dealer is in charge of one end of the layout. The dealers convert cash into playing chips and make sure that the bets at his or her end of the layout are paid correctly. The time of Tom, the craps dealer must come to an end or great craps dealers such as John will also be out of jobs. We craps players love the game and we enjoy playing it at tables with great dealers. Dealers should look to John as the role model for craps dealers and as the potential savior of their jobs. I do not know what game(s) were covered, but I got the impression that craps was not the first game a new dealer learned. A lot of the training is in internal procedures and spotting cheats. Working in a casino is a whole lot different than, and not nearly as glamorous as, playing in one. A Craps Dealer should be kind and welcoming to players and strive to provide the optimum entertainment for everyone involved in the game. You must be a swift decision maker. Be careful about the various bets made on your table and track the winning bets on every roll.

Craps is a game in which players make decisions on the outcome of dice. Players take turns as the 'shooter' rolling two dice. Each round has two phases: the “come-out” roll and making or passing a “point”. A come-out roll of 2, 3 or 12 is called “craps” and anyone betting on the pass line loses. A come-out roll of 7 or 11 is a “natural” and is a winner on the pass line. The other possible numbers are the point numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. If the shooter rolls one of these numbers on the come-out roll, this makes the “point” – to “pass' and must be rolled again before a 7 to “win”. Importantly each Dice or Craps game includes 4 Dealers or Croupiers, 1 for each base, a stickman and a relief dealer.
