Epiphone was founded in 1873 by Anastasios Stathopoulos in Turkey, and made its name making fiddles and lutes. Take this one with a pinch of salt folks as I can’t actually find this one for sale anywhere at the time of writing. It is listed on the Epiphone website as being available left handed, and on top of that I was informed of lefty models back when they were quietly announced at NAMM. It is also worth mentioning that I was also told the USA Casino would also be available left handed, but this model isn’t listed at all on the Epiphone site currently.

These guitars are handcrafted in Montana by Gibson’s best luthiers, and as such they command a price tag that you would normally associate with a Gibson acoustic. A whole new offering from Epiphone for sure so it’ll be interesting to see how they fare!
